I studied lots of B&Bs and spent weeks reading various reviews. The
Relais Casa Della Fornarina exceeded our expectations. Large and quiet
room. Very clean. Vouchers for a full American breakfast which we
didn't get at any other B&B we stayed at. Walking distance to
everything in Trastevere. Just don't judge a book by it's cover
and how it looks from the outside. A+++ in my book.

This family run apartment was the perfect place for us to stay in Rome.
The rooms were a great size and very comfy beds.
Location was perfect, across the road from all the great bars and restaurants of Trastevere, walking distance to Old town and the tram at your door step.
The breakfast was fantastic and changed daily with new treats to try and the family could not do enough to help you with everything you needed and any question about Rome.
Highly recommend this place.

The staff at Relais Trastevere are unbeatable! We were faced with a very difficult time whilst there and had to cut our trip short. They were absolutely marvelous and so very kind. We were also met at the property, given a detailed map, information about the area etc. Further, the location of this place is absolutely fantastic! We stayed on the 2nd floor, #3, for 2 1/2 weeks, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom. It was our home away from home. Washer and drying rack was very useful for such a long stay. We cooked many times in the nice kitchen. Loved the rain shower in the bathroom. Super location, close to restaurants, banks, bus, taxis.
