My stay at Giudecca Bella was wonderful, and allowed for a more relaxed and quiet stay in Venice, than staying on San Marco. And the great thing is it is only 2 minutes away from San Marco on the ferry. Very friendly and welcoming, very pretty, and the price is right, particularly for Venice. Highly recommended! -

With the ferry it only takes 2 min. to get over the small channel of Giudecca.
The price is perfect as well. Most of the hotels in Venice are really expensive, but here I paid less.

Probably the nicest place my girlfriend and I stayed at during our trip
through Italy. (Admittedly, we were traveling on a budget and mostly
renting through airbnb.) This is a true B&B, with Massimo and his
wife coming in the morning to make us coffee. They were very friendly,
telling us to make ourselves at home and opening up the various cakes
and pastries in the kitchen. Venice is expensive, but Ca' Santo
Spirito was fairly good value for city.

This bed and breakfast is very close to the San Basilio port where our ferry docked. it's not easy to find it since the numbering in Venice is beyond
logics)) and the address consists of the name of area and building
number. My advice would be to get a detailed explanation before checking
in and having a detailed map. There many places to eat around working
until late nite.

The location was excellent. Just a few minutes from 2 vaporetto stations (waterbuses). Getting around was so easy, whether by vaporetto or walking, with something new around every corner. Carlo was fabulous-- we discovered a problem with our airline tickets at the airport which meant an additional night in Venice (even though we'd already checked out of the hotel that morning), Carlo graciously said he he could put us up for the night saying, "it will be nice to visit with you again." He was also helpful with finding an open pharmacy on a Sunday and answering our many questions.

Fantastic location (5-10 minutes to St Marco Square) and super friendly and helpful staff. Mario happily greeted us for a very late 11:30 PM check-in when our flight was delayed. The shower room was spacious and well heated; the bedroom was fine; the breakfast room served a good range of food (although the bread was dry on one morning of our 4-day stay); the location was well-nigh perfect. Easy to get to, we found the place very easy as it was near the vaporatto stop. There is a really good map on the website that shows a red line of the path you should take to get there.
Very convenient as it is close to everything.
The internet worked well for the most part.
Breakfast was pretty basic but gave us a nice start to the day. -
