  Marco waited 2 hours beyond the check-in time and greeted us with a smile. He is a wonderful host. The breakfast is at a restaurant next to Sante Croce which is approx a 5 minute walk and it is totally worth it. This place is an apartment with 5 or 6 rooms. also 3 or 4 rooms outside the apartment but in the same floor. but this does not cause any problem.   My friend and I travelled to Florence for 4 days in March this year. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Stanze del David. The welcome and hospitality were superb. The hotel is located on the 4th floor. But don’t worry there is a li - The staff at Stanze del David Place are amazing! So personable, flexible, and accomadating. It is very clear that they want their guests to have the best and most comfortable experience possible. The location is top and though in the very heart of Florence the street noise is minimal. The entire B&B is impeccably clean and elegantly decorated, I felt like a princess in my room!   The location was great. Just far enough from the city center to be quiet at night. Only a 25 minute walk to the train station. A kitchen was great to have especially with kids. We could bring home leftovers and the kids could eat them later. Free parking right next to the apartment. It had to still be cleaned but Sara gave me the key - - The room was very cozy, nice and clean. - Location is perfect! Away from all the city fuss and just next to the Piazzale Michelangelo. - Sara (the owner) and her husband were very nice and helpful!

This hotel is a lesson many top starred hotels should learn from on how to provide service. Joey and Lorenzo are very helpful, providing personal service and tips on what should be visited. The location is tucked away in a coutyard by a church right off of a main street that leads to everything you would want to see in Florence. Would stay there again.
