  What a wonderful place. Loved it. I arrived and was greeted by Diego and Milena the owners of this charming little "boutiquey" b&B. What perfect hosts, so helpful and kind they even gave me a phone charger for my mobile phone as I had forgotten mine!!! Also very nice and clean. My wonderful Roman breakfast, delicious cappuccino was brought up - Very interesting location.. I couldnt believe my eyes that it views 'the colloseum'. I'm relieved that I did not choose to stay at the Termini.. Because in terms of transportation, it didnt make any difference... This place offers everything, surrounded by archeological/ historical tourist attraction, convenient shop, taxi just infront of your door step, bus stop and sightseeing bus just 200 meters away, restaurants... And most importantly, u can just lie down on the bed and watch the colleseum

I have stayed there 5 times over the last 5 years, and appreciate the unique and lush appearance of the hotel, but if you are into large spaces and cont - Our host Roberto, his wife and the staff were welcoming and took extra care of our needs. We booked two single rooms and sometimes in the past we have been allocated tiny, substandard rooms. The rooms at the Celio were charming, clean and the location between the Colosseo and Laterano was fabulous. This was the first time we have ventured out of the Trevi/Tritone area. (We go to Rome each year over past 15 years and this experience was one of our most enjoyable. Grazie Roberto!!

  Catia was there to greet us and looked after us on a very personable level. The hotel was amazing. For us it had the best view in Rome. It was like being inside the Colesseum we were so close. I am also a really fussy traveller and I'm never satisfied with anything due to having a life in the top hotels due to work. S - Well... we had the view- so there wasn't much more to focus on! It was so easy to find from the metro and the um huge site right outside the doors. This hotel is above a restaurant with the same name. We got a key to enter through the side whenever we wanted. We were on the third floor (they'd say second in Italy) with stairs, but it was no problem for us. The room was huge and I could have held a party in that bathroom. The shower was amazing. The a/c was one of the strongest in my experience.

  Staff is very helpful, the hotel was recently refurbished and the design is very fancy. Location is one of the best in the city, just next to the Coliseum. You can see the Roman Colosseum from the window of the Michelangelo Room. The breakfast was included and the staff and food downstairs were fantastic.   Excellent spot for a romantic weekend stay. LiRioni is situated close to the Colloseum and Forum Romanum, in a quiet surroundings. The owners were very friendly and extremely helpful and the place itself was amazing! Clean and newly renovated rooms, very comfortable and equipped like at least a 4*+ hotel. LiRioni is located on the 4th floor (the highest, there is an elevator) and has a cute little kitchen and dining room on the top - Very nice apartment next to the Colosseum on the fourth floor of the building (there is an elevator). Rooms are new and clean. The apartment has a beautiful terrace on the roof exactly as seen on the pictures. The apartment is located on the small quite street, so there is no noise from the street at night. Wifi is as fast as tornado. The hostess Valentina is very friendly, helpful and guest-oriented. We will definitely stay at Li Rioni B&B on our next visit to Rome.

  When embarking on our first trip to Europe this summer, we decided to use B&B's as opposed to hotel chains during our travels, hoping to get a more personal and private experience. Upon arrival we were welcomed into the "home base" of the establishment and shown to our quarters across the street in another building. On our floor was a guests' common area complete with kitchen facilities, balconi - Location was excellent (once we found it!) very close to coliseum and some nice local restaurants. Room was fairly small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was continental-style but ample and very good. Staff were helpful but only spoke Italian but we were able to communicate through miming and some broken Italian/English.
