  Great place to stay with perfect location only 10 minutes easy walk from bus and railway stations, and 5 minutes to the main square and fish markets. Bellini Opera Theatre is just around the corner. Try to see it on a performance night when it is all lit up and looks wonderful. Jane is brilliant and looked after us so well and the - Very good B&B. Staff very friendly, with excellent sense of humor. English speaking.   The staff is perfect! We were unable to check-in before 23 pm, even we arrived after 01 am (though we told before that we ould come at 22 pm) because of very hard road from Napoli through Campania and Calabria. It seemed to be lost... It seemed we would have our beds on a street... But the cool guy Pietro came away and saved us!)) PS: and a dog in the inner - I've spent 2 weeks in Civitas B&B. The room is very spacious, clean and the towels are changed daily. It is very close to city centre as well as bus and train stations. Interior is very nice decorated. Pietro and Leonardo are very friendly and helpful in every possible way. I highly recommend it for staying!

  Very good location since the BB is between the train/bus station and city center. Very nice and helpful staff (Michele). The room had a nice design, and it was clean and calm.   We had a fantastic time staying at Gem De Luxe, and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone else. The room was decorated to a high standard, and we were made to feel very welcome, and special by the owner. Her help with the excursion to Mount Etna was very welcome, and we had a spendid and memorable day out with the company she recommended. We'd be - Gabriella was a wonderful hostess! She´s very kind, giving tips and suggestions for trips within Catania and surroundings, prepares fine breakfast... The B&B shows a charming ambiente and is located close to downtown in an area where nightlife starts right in front of the house - perfect to be in the middle of Catania and feel the heartbeat of this amazing city :-) Everything you need to see is in walking distance.

  We had a wonderful staying in bianca's place. We had a little palace to stay. Big bedroom, comfortable living room and clean bathroom. What we really loved about the place is the fact that we were served by a lovely young couple which owned the place. Also the dog bianca was a real highlight. She was unobtrusive and so sweet. We had always good conversations with them and they were really helpful in giving tips abo - The warm, friendly welcome around the table with a much appreciated cup of tea. They passed on a message received from my friend before my arrival with voluntary, generous offers of help in returning the call and making another to my previous B&B. At 70+ with no cell phone it was a welcome bonus. Loved my room with high cupola shaped ceiling and floor of old polished tiles in the central area and edged with wooden strip floor. Surprise view of the harbour from the minute balcony. Sincere

  Localização e ótimo atendimento. - excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me... o que as pessoas dizem » to book an excursion to Etna (must see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.
