Actually everything on the Hotel was a positive experience.
Location is good, quite in the nature on the top of a small village where you can enjoy good view and relax your soul.
Rooms and facilities are romantic and give a nice feeling of privacy

Beautiful setting and an excellent, friendly staff, who did not let a power failure (due to a storm) knock them off stride, instead serving a wonderful dinner by candlelight before the power came back.

We were booked in for one night and loved it so much we stayed four nights. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with a real Tuscan feel about it. Very relaxing in a rural setting with Cortona less than 10 minutes away. Donata made us feel welcome and provided much information about Cortona and surrounding areas. Ideally located for exploring neighbouring towns and villages. Donata provided excellent hospitality to us and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, a home away from home.

Our trip to Italy started with alot of challenges which led us to
arrive the property very late at 12 midnight. Yet Vittorio welcomed us
with a huge smile on his face though he waited for us after a 3 hour
delay. We stayed in a suite (so worth it!!!) and had a view that was

Simply the best! Where to start: That Vittorio hops in the car to pick us up, when we get lost without a GPS. That we enter one of the two beautifully restored buildings to be shown not only to a room but to a spacious, lovingly furnished apartment. Plus there is a fully equipped kitchen/ living room with a fireplace to share with the upstairs apartment. The garden with its flowers is perfectly tended and shows the owners great love and passion for their property. And the breakfast! Vittorio´s

This has to be the most beautiful place to stay in the area, as the setting amongst olive orchards , grape vines and fruit trees is amazing with views across the Tuscan landscape , the distant bells from churches on the hillside.There is not enough space here to describe how perfect the hotel and staff are.
