  As soon as you get into the hotel you will feel like home!with a lot of privacy. You don't rent just a room but the entire structure. Nice and curate spaces, with style and design. Front desk always helpfull, gives you a lot of tips of where to go and to do in Catania and surroundings. The stucture is located just few steps from the city centre. However, the staff will help you with taking the luggage up and down the stairs. The hotel is situated in a little seedy area near the fish market. However, once you walk pass these 1-2 blocks, you are at the Elephant fountain and the Duomo so the location to the sights is great. There are lots of good seafood restaurants nearby.

  We really liked our stay in B&B Macalle. Everything was very clean, the towels smelled really nice and our room and bathroom were very spacious. Every morning Mario made us a great cappuchino. The city is at walking distance. And Mario gave us a great suggestion for a fish restaurant for dinner. Plenty of parking and a view of part of the volcano top Etna and not far from the city Catania. Approximately 500 m to the beach but only rocks and no sand beach.

  Everyhing. It rather close to the central station. It was easy to find the street. The girl at reception (Marcela) is very friendly! Thanks a lot. - Beautiful and luxurious room, friendly and accommodating staff, nice rooftop terrace for breakfast!
