  We liked everything about Tuscany and staying at Casa Sola made the experience perfect. The family and staff were friendly and very helpful The winery tour and wine and olive oil tasting were very well done. We enjoyed many meals and wines in San Donato and other wonderful charming villages in the Chianti area. We do hope to return with our... o que as pessoas dizem » family. - All of it! This is Tuscany at its best... We stayed here 7 nights and simply loved it! The scenery, it's people and the authentic houses... All very beautiful. In the middle of the campo, the lovely Chianti, and Firenze and Siena only 30 and 40 min away. Try the cooking workshop, you'll love it....

  It’s quite difficult to say what we like best since everything was just perfect: the hospitality of our hosts and the friendly staff that made us feel at home, the wonderful, charming property exceptionally restored with beautiful gardens and pool, combined with the perfect location in the heart of the Chianti region. We can hardly wait to return.... o que as pessoas dizem » Many thanks to our hosts Lucia and Stefano! - The view of the vineyards and olive trees was beautiful. It was so quiet and away from commotion. It was a great place to use as a home base after a day of exploring other hill towns. San Donato in Poggia was just down the road. A quaint little village. Bought some groceries there. Enjoyed a bottle of wine and cheese while we sat on the patio overlooking the scenery. Hated to leave.

  Absolutely wonderful apartment which felt like home. Extremely spacious as we had the quadruple apartment with one bedroom, a spacious living room/dining room & fully equipped kitchen. As it is a self reliant rental, you will need to pick up some tp is needed & I recommend bringing a few garbage bags to sort your recyclables from bio garba... o que as pessoas dizem » ge instead of having to buy a box of them during your stay. The family is wonderful and accommodating. We enjoyed a free wine tasting with a bus tour - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The Gerbera unit we stayed in was large , attractive & close enough to the excellent pool area. Good kitchen facilities were provided but with a couple of lovely restaurants a few kilometeres away in Barberino we didnt cook much.We made day trips to Florence , the Chianti area & San Gimignano - all within less than an hour's drive.In addition the Sant' Appiano area was good for walking & running and to top it off staying in a high quality vineyar
