Buswells Hotel is very well located for sightseeing and shopping in Dublin. The room was spacious and clean, the beds were comfy, the bathroom was a nice size, and the staff was exceptionally pleasant and helpful. This hotel is perfect if you want to be right smack in Temple Bar, you don't mind the sound of drunken laughter until all hours of the night and/or you are a heavy sleeper. Excellent value. I was worried about all the reports on noise, but it didn't bother me at all. It is fairly clear that it is going to be noisy anyway. Anyone complaining about this has been warned by other reviews and by the hotel's own website. It is ideal for anyone on a budget. Drinks were 2.50 at the bar and a large selection of meals from 6euro. If you prefer to be part of the party this place is great for you.

would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. -
Fantastic location, very close to the Temple Bar area of London, one
block off a major street and the river, yet tucked back on a side street
where there is little noise. The staff bent over backwards to accomodate
any requests, from an early breakfast to holding over luggage. Morning
breakfast very good. Location less than a block for bus connections both
within Dublin and to sites outside the city. Within easy walking to St.
Patricks Cathedral, City Hall, Trinity University.
