This is a good hotel for both their food and hospitality. The rooms were clean if a little old-fashioned. The food was excellent and plentiful The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We would definitely go back. Thanks to you all . ... ....... My wife who is disabled was assisted and helped in every way by all of the staff. To me this was the most important and enjoyable part of my stay. I have always used this Hotel when in the Donegal area.

For someone trying to lose weight the helpings were no incentive to my efforts. Others may look at this in a different light. Nothing!. room was basic and a little tired not all rooms fit this but the one i stayed in did i mean this comment to be constructive. No complaints. There was not anything. Nothing to comment here. only one chair in our room and this chair was not comfortable. My room had a shower which moved quickly into the top five worst showers that it has my misfortune to use in forty odd years travelling. I had no problem with anything. Decor a bit dated,. No view from bedroom. no dislikes. Lighting in room very bad. Had dinner there 24.95 for main course and no veg it was 3 euro extra for all side orders. Hotel was slightly out dated but at same time very natural,nothing false about it. Why oh why must singer in bar/lounge use amplification in such a confined space. It only forces the patrons to shout at each other. Also it didnt help my interaction or relationship with the barman! I noted during the singer's intermission that the piped music was still on. Rooms could be modernised. Tea and milk not refilled in room. Shower had no power and difficult to use. Had to stand at an angle to get washed. The shower was appalling. A dribble at the best. The rooms were rather outdated. Smell pillow cases from previous drunk occupant. Mold in bathroom Lack of facilities like emergency toiletries no newspapers Overpriced Ordinary food. Room was dirty, food spilt on bedspread and something stained on shower curtains. They supplied coffee making facilities but no power points at all in the room. Not a great hotel. The floors were extremely creaky. I was awoken at 04:20 by the guest in the upstairs bed room walking on the creaky floors. I was awoken again at 05:55 due to a similar occurance. Instead of feeling rested prior to a long car journey I will have to pull over to get some sleep. Not a good experience, hence I will not be staying there again. Possibly less cooked breakfast, especially the omlett. Irish hotels should use fresh eggs not powered!.
