We stayed at Le Pirate for three nights in July, not long after it opened. We were dropped at Ceningan bridge by our boat company, and staff from Le Pirate were waiting with bikes to take us to the hotel - an interesting ride over the crazy bridge with two people and a giant backpack on each bike! Captain Koh was there to meet us when we arrived and was an excellent host to us and everyone who walked through the entrance, for our entire stay. He arranged a bike for us, made numerous phone calls.
todos opiniões » My partner and I had initially booked to stay for two nights but as we fell in love with this place we extended for another two. The beach boxes are cute, clean and simple & the view out over the water to Nusa Lembongan is just gorgeous - such a unique spot - watching the changing landscape across the course of the day and local seaweed farmers at work when the tide was out gave us a unique window into local life. Between swimming, poolside reading, good cocktails, beautiful sunsets, amazin. an amazing stay at le Pirate beach club ! first of all, the bungalows are hyper clean, simple but with all the comfort needed ( ac, curtains, nice outside bathroom in the backside of the bungalow...), very well designed, sea view from the window and the door : absolutely perfect ! the swimming pool and sunbath side is also very nice, surrounding the sea ! we had cocktails every evening : so good, home made with fresh fruits. the food is also very good, fresh, tasty : we had fresh fished tuna an. The awesome view, uniqueness concept of bathroom, simplicity in bedroom decoration, comfortable facilities at bedroom terrace area. Great staff. Comfortable room. Great views of the seaweed farm and lagoon. Delicious food. Relaxing atmosphere. We just absolutely adored this place. Everything about it was completely and utterly charming. Love all the things there..missed the staff,the beach,the pool,tiny n cozy room. The most beautiful place I ever stay.. good view...good location... The menu in the warung should have more vegetarian options, though this was not an issue for me as Kho managed to improvise, it would be nice to see it on the menu - if I had stopped by for a meal only I probably wouldn't have stayed. The staff wasn't that friendly and cannot explain the details, the snorkeling facility wasn't available on sunday, the food wasn't that good, and there's a mice walking on the roof. Nothing. I suppose if there was anything negative to say about the place it would be the lack of availability of fresh seafood. This is not a problem with Le Pirate but the entire island. We were surprised by our island vacation without fresh fish. There's no fresh seafood..if you can add grill seafood (fresh seafood) its will be complete..barbeque activity at night will be great..
