We were hesitant to book because there were almost no reviews, but
we're glad we did. It turned out that the reason was it had only
been open a month.
The hosts were extremely accommodating. They did their best to make sure we had everything we (and our young daughter) needed.
Nicer than more expensive places we stayed at on the same trip.

It was such an amazing stay! The house feels so homey. it is beautifully built and decorated, with many thoughtful details. It was by far the most memorable place we stayed at in Iceland. The couple who owns it is very nice and kind. The wife cooked us a tasteful breakfast even though we were the only guests staying there that night. This is definitely a great choice for travelers!

This was the best place we stayed. It's absolutely amazing - the
guesthouse is immaculate, only a year old. The beds are so comfortable,
the room is simple and homey. The couple who own the guesthouse are the
most friendly people we met in Iceland, the gentleman who owns the place
is so kind and genuine. They have so much pride in their guesthouse

A fantastic place to stay. The owner was an extremely friendly and helpful gentleman, and could not have helped us more. After we arrived, he showed us our room, then took the time to sit down with us and chat about our plans, and gave us recommendations on the best routes to drive and where to eat dinner etc.
The room itself was great - it was modern, clean, and comfortable. As previously mentioned, there was no in-room TV, but who cares?! If you are bored of your wife/husband/travel companio

We stayed at the Hotel Vestmannaeyjar for 3 days and it was absolutely amazing! First of all we had booked a basic double bedroom but we soon found out that the owners had given us one of the suites, as it was available. Moreover, the owners were lovely and helpful people! The guesthouse was incredible!! We loved the location. It is situated in a very nice neighborhood that is conveniently located a block from the pool facilities. And the pool recreation center was incredible after spending the day hiking! The owners were wonderful to deal with, very helpful and accommodating. Definitely purchase the breakfast ~

Hotel Manager Jon and staff made sure that we were comfortable. The
food choice and preparation for us was awesome since we were the only
couple that evening having dinner. The hotel is in winter operation,

Fantastic place. Made you feel very welcome and nothing was too much for
them to help you with. The place is quite new - so all is clean and tidy

My friend and I were upgraded as a very generous courtesy to a four-bedroom apartment with a private deck larger than my own home. It felt like a palace after the small rooms we'd been staying in for the previous week. The view was (is) beautiful, the apartment luxurious, and the staff professional and kind. On our final morning, we settled the account after breakfast and then stayed for as long as possible, reading and enjoying the quiet.
