Our hostess was the most helpful person we met during our trip to Iceland. We had a misfortune of getting stranded due to snow storm and she did all she could to help us with our journey back to Reykjavik and did not even charge us for the extra night! Our room was very clean and bedding spotless and very comfortable. There are also great facilities for self catering. Location is brilliant for exploring the peninsula and whale watching. We saw orca whales off the shore in the bay. Fantastic!.
todos opiniões » Nice and friendly reception staff (we had to call them once we arrived, but the instructions were easy). Clean facilities. We were the only ones staying there and so had the shared kitchen and bathroom to ourselves. There are large windows everywhere, showcasing the beautiful surroundings. This place is so homey, recently renovated. We stayed only one night, but if there is a chance to go back sometimes, we would be happy to stay here longer. There is a nice view from the kitchen to the ocean and the hill. The location - near the fjord (good for whale watching) , also very near to the national park. The facilities - The kitchen is extremely well-equipped. The staff - very friendly and helpful. The manager, very helpful and kind. The place was clean and welcoming, easy to find and quiet. Very nice guest kitchen, friendly staff and great view on the sea from the big windows. The well-stocked kitchen was very nice and the view from the eating bar was amazing. Fine guest kitchen, friendly staff, but most of all we liked the view. Very nice view, good kitchenfacilitys. Very clean, kind staff. Kitchen is very nice. Good location, free internet and available PC, free parking. Houselady was very kind. Kitchen well equiped. It was in the center of the town. The bathroom was clean. The village is really quiet and there's not much in the way of amenities (there are only two places to eat in the town, and not much else nearby). The reception desk is not manned most of the times. Only 1 bathroom (to my knowledge): can be a little bit crowdy in rush hours :). Breakfast was not included - it isn't convenient. Small rooms. Kitchen way too small (4 chairs only !). Rooms are basic, kitchen and eating areas are small and some appliances could do with a better cleaning. Room is a bit small, but ok for 1 night. There was no one at the reception desk when I arrived. The room I had was clean, but the sink was not hooked up and there was a strange, strong smell, like food only in the room. I also could not connect to the wifi.
