  This place is somewhere to stay if you are arriving at the bus station after the metro closes for the night, an easy walking distance. Hosts are nice, helped with my bags. Its not great by backpacker/budget accom standards- below average. Other reviews are saying this place is cheap- it is not cheap for Budapest- head into the city if you can and ... o que as pessoas dizem » pay less than half for a better location, better standard & facilites & location. - Location was good for me, because I arrived by bus and travelled further also by bus. It's close to the bus station, but not close to the centre. It's a park nearby, but on the whole the area is not really picturesque.

  The room was nice and the staff was very friendly. Quite and comfortable point of departure for discovering the city. I enjoyed the Hungarian-style cooking at the restaurant. - The staff was great! The breakfast table was so long, and the dinner wasalso great. Rooms are big enough, and very quiet!

  The hotel was located in a quiet and green area, the security was high and there was parking on the private grounds of the hotel available (with CCTV and the area was well lit). The staff was very professional and very helpful, spoke good English. Unlike the info here, they did accept a pet dog for a fee.   Mentha apartment is in the new building that is situated in a peaceful and quiet area. There are enough parking places on the street around the building if you are coming by car. Apartment is clean, bright and nicely furnished. He took us into his apartment and explained the metro to us. The apartment was very clean and easy to stay in. It was better than the apartment we have in Sydney!
