Villa Amalia - Fotos
O que as pessoas dizem
Amalia and Yorgo, who own and operate Villa Amalia, are fantastic hosts, and the villa itself could not be more ideal. Perfectly situated on the side of a hill, the front door of every room at Villa Amalia offers a view of the sea and the picturesque olive orchards of the region. The nearby village of Palaikastro boasts a number of affordable restaurants with friendly staff and lots of local flavor without feeling "built up." Villa Amalia is a perfect fit for both the eco-traveler and the coupl. todos opiniões »
Great scenic location (own transport recommended)
Perfectly clean
Very kind, caring owner, you feel she is really giving her heart for the apartments.
Superbly equipped kitchen, even an orange press was there
Every apartment has own comfy couch and table plus seats on its terrace, in addition to that a great well-equipped terrace in the amazing garden for common use. Great to meet, and also to retreat.
Every apartment has its own parking lot close nearby, easily accessible
Absolutely quiet loca.
- Small but clean and very well furnished studio
- Kitchenette that really allow to cook, if you feel like
- ...otherwise you can just go to Mythos Taverna in Palaikastron
- Strategic position for visiting the eastern part of Kriti (Vai beach is 6 km far...)
- Excellent value for money
- Wonderful view, the fotos are true! Enjoying the view in the morning and at sunset is an added value which is priceless
- Last but not least, Amalia is gorgeous! This is another added value which is not listed .
Everything was done to make us feel welcome and comfortabel. The view is wonderful and the environment invites you to discover all its beauty. You can sleep with your window open because there are mosquito nets. You don't need to use the airco and save the extra charge.
Don't stay for only one or two days!.
Beautiful view, clean, big apartments ... Great for families for sure. Beach is just like 1km far from the villa.
the terrace with the wonderful view and the shade of the olivers.
Great location overlooking the sea amongest the olive trees.
The sea view.
The view of the garden is wonderful! The kitchen is lovely :-) The room is clean.
Travelers can expect great service, trip recommendations, and hospitality, but shouldn't confuse Villa Amalia with a resort or high end hotel. The rooms are cleaned daily, but not by a team of maids, and our room did not have a TV. These were far from problems for us, but it's important to be aware of what type of experience is on offer.
On the mattress one could feel the springs a bit, could be replaced.
- Not really a problem for me, but I've been told that there are
mosquitos. I didn't notice.
If you are accomodated in the main villa be aware that the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything from the other rooms. Everything is bit older, but still well kept.
nothing.
We were there in the middle of June. The air conditioner didn't work, so the room was very hot during the night. If you don't care about mosquitos, you can open the window when you sleep.
