The hotel is located right in the centre of Pothia, very convenient to be dropped off and picked up by taxi. Hotel owner (father and son) and staff are fantastic, genuinely kind and humorous. Our room (twin room) had a balcony (with a table and chairs) with a superb view over the port. Although the hotel is right on the main road, with restaurants/cafes/shops conveniently near by, we could hardly hear any noise with window closed (mind you, the people are still out and about at midnight!) todos opiniões » The hotel is so to speak situated on the very lively city square. Numerous restaurants can be found nearby. From the ferry to the hotel you walk 5 to 10 minutes. My room had a balcony with a beautiful view over the harbour as well as over the square. Double glazing helped to absorb practically all the street noises when the windows were closed. The furnishing is rather basic but the rooms are kept very clean. The hotel owner as well as the front desk staff is very friendly; they try to help whe. The hotel was great. For a budget priced hotel the accommodation was great, the location was perfect being across the road from the port and under a minutes walk to cares and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving good tips on how to get around and what we should expect to pay for things like car rental etc. when we go back to Kalymnos we will again be staying at the Olympic. I can still picture that amazing view from the balcony. Excellent location..Excellent staff and Awesome view...this place rocks !!!! highly recommend this over any other hotel in Pothias...bus to beaches nearby..excellent location to restauarants and beach. We found the owner to be exceptionally helpful in making us feel at home. We had a fantastic harbor view with a balcony.the double pained windows were a great help during the loud Easter celebrations. Minutes from the ferry right in The middle of the action! But with great insulation from party Noise when needed. Great front desk staff in fact Everyone super helpful, AND a lift !!. Harbour side position, clean, superb staff, helpful to the extreme, a delight to sit on the balcony and watch Pothia come to life, simple, basic but comfortable rooms and bathroom. We visited during the Orthodox Greek Easter and got the experience of a life time. Great location, great views and real island experience! Loved it!!!! Kalymnos is the best!. how close it was to everything including the ferry terminal- the staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable enough. its position everything you might need was at hand, banks food boats tourist information everything. An excellent hotel for an overnight stop while island hopping from Kalymnos to Amorgos. The location and view of the sea was perfect. Very helpful and friendly management. everthing is ok. The view of my room and also balcony had a great Kalymnos Port, which you can see it also when you are laying in the bed just in a ~50 m distance to the ferry pier and in the center of the city center (Pothia ). Great location, view of the harbour from the balcony, hotel to stay in if you need to spend the night in Pothia-not for a vacation. Very basic room but clean. location is perfect. free wifi. Very near the port. Nothing, the hotel exceeded all of my expectations. The bathroom needed remodeling. Loved it all. the rooms have unnecessary furniture as they were a little squishy, the curtains kept coming undone, tv was always fuzzy. all was ok. surrounding of the hotel is noisy. The all personnel on reception were very careless, impolite and smooking allways Such that if you asking for a island map they can say "we don't have any map" . It was pretty silly. Housekeeping didn't stop by my room for 2 days. Took 5 euros more than was quoted and claimed it was for taxes; though the booking. Voucher said taxes included in the price. rooms are not comfort, this hotel is only for sleep and go type hotel. Everything else.
