Titisee - the lakeside - is unbelievably touristy - cuckoo clocks are only a beginning. But the gastof, although an easy walk from the lakeside and a step from the station, is quiet, discrete, and very comfortable. And you get a free travel pass as part of the deal to take great bus and train rides to very lovely and less crowded parts of the Black Forest. Rooms were comfortable. Service was good, especially in bar and restaurant (in main hotel, just around the corner) Guest house very comfortable and smaller than main hotel, which we preferred. Excellent choice for breakfast including some veggie stuff (quite unusual for Germany!_.
