The two-level holiday home is located in the village of Lichte, one of Thuringias walking areas. The village is in the River Lichte Valley and almost directly on the Rennsteig Walking Trail. The house is approx. 200 m2 and sits on a 1000 m2 plot of land which includes a flat garden area with garden furniture. It has central heating, TV (satellite), and CD/DVD.
The accommodation is suitable for 8 people, it has 4 bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom and and a kitchen diner with ceramic hob, oven (grill-oven), microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer. A storage room for the washing machine and tumble dryer are also accessible.
You can enjoy the good view from the conservatory and enjoy its wall paintings. You can read a book in the living room's library and relax together in the second living room with DVD player and Playstation 1. Some DVDs and games are available.
The house is at an altitude of 630 metres. You ll find good ski-areas within a twenty minute drive in the winter season. There are various cross-country skiing runs in the surrounding area.
The region is especially known for its glass blowing and porcelain industries which flourished in the 16th century. Those interested in culture you can visit the cities of Arnstadt, Erfurt, Jena, Gotha, Weimar and Eisenach. They are all less than an hours drive away. There are also attractions closer to the home, these include the Feengrotten Grottos, the Bergbahn Mountain Railway and the superb Swimming Centre.
