  Wonderful place to stay. The apartment is very roomy with a fully equipped kitchen. The owners were very nice and the apartment is located on arguably the cutest street in all of Lubeck. The wireless internet worked well and there's a great organic food market right around the corner.

After traveling through Germany for 4 weeks and staying in different cities at similiarly priced hotesl, I can honestly say that Hotel zur alten Stadtmauer was the best experience of my trip. The breakfasts provided were of a remarkably high standard, worth at least five stars. If you are lucky enough to get a front bedroom on the top floor, the views are stunning. The staff were particularly helpful.

  Spent 5 nights in a ground floor apartment and had an excellent time. Spacious, clean and modern, beds comfy, kitchen well equipped, good shower over the bath, free wifi. Parking available off road at rear of house. Bruce the owner is very helpful ( and being Canadian speaks perfect English, so no need to s - Our flat was conveniently situated in a residential street, 10 mins walk from the old town centre. Bruce, the owner, was courteous, helpful and unintrusive - we only saw him on our arrival and departure, but he assured us that if we needed advice re. the apartment we were welcome to knock on his door. Could have spent longer in Lubeck and in the apartment - wonderfully relaxing. Have to recommend the F
