The hotel is located in a beautiful spot, below the highest mountain in Germany. It was used by the US military at the end of WWII. In addition to the lake, there is an indoor swimming pool.
We would like to return here for a family reunion as there are enough activities in the area for all ages.

We had a great view of the mountains from our room and it is very close to the major ski areas. Our room, including the bathroom, was extrememly clean. I had plenty of hot water for a nice shower after skiing. There was a nice fire in the bar/lobby area with comfy couches for relaxing. The breakfast was great and the homemade raspberry jam was wond

The room was beautiful, as well as the view and surrounding area. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious and cooked fresh (it was the best food that I had in Germany). There was not a single thing that we did not like about this hotel. It was excellent!
