The hospitality and friendliness of the family who run this hotel. Good food and wine. Excellent value. We arrived late at 9:15 pm after a long days ride and they cooked us a meal. The hotel was really nice and the staff friendly. And on Easter morning they had a small Easter surprise for every quest. It made the stay more personal. - The staff was so friendly and personable. The hotel was well kept, and obviously cared for.

We spent the weekend in Frankfurt and needed a place to stay for just one night as we extended our trip and also wanted to visit Cochem and Burg Eltz. Friendly welcome by Barbara, very clean and comfortable accommodation. Situated close to many local attractions along the river mosel; including excellent cycling tracks and a lovely outdoor swimming pool (5 minutes walk). Although we did hire a car for the week we took advantage of a free local bus pass.
