John and Karin, who go out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay. Our room was lovely,really large and light. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, and a nice atmosphere with a gentle background of radio. it was good to have a small friendly bar in the hotel. We found this to be the most homely hotel we have ever stayed in, and would love to return. Staff extremely friendly and extremely helpful. I would most certainly stay there again when visiting Boppard. Breakfast was excellent. Room was clean and comfortable. We stayed 2 nights and the bedding and towels were all changed for the second night´s stay. Friendly and cosy bar.
todos opiniões » This hotel is a gem, the owners are really friendly and super helpful. John provides a unique insight to the area, his recommendations for food and excursions were always excellent. We had a few beers in the evenings with John and fellow guests making our stay extremely enjoyable. Unfortunately I had an accident while on holiday at Boppard, John & Karin could not have been more helpful to me. They both went out of their way to help me sort out any problems that arose, which were many and various. They were excellent & I cannot praise them enough. We had a very nice time thanks to manager Karin and polyglot John. Very kind, helpful, pleasant and cheerful. The best place in town in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Excellent breakfast. A great combination of german efficiency and english savoir-vivre. Very clean and very friendly staff.They made us so welcome we wish we had booked more than 2 nights.A fan was provided for the room as it was very hot which was a nice touch.John did bacon as it was sunday which was nice.We will be using the hotel again. This hotel was a warm and friendly place to stay. John the owner was extremely welcoming and helpful. The room was large and full of character. The breakfast was abundant and fresh. I would highly recommend staying here. John and the staff are best we have ever had. They gave us great ideas on some of the locals things to see. We could not have asked for better accommodations for our 4 year old daughter , who happens to love Karin. John the host is amazing and will do anything to help. An example is that we wanted to take advantage of a day-ticket on the trains, and to make sure we got the right ticket, he went and got the ticket for us!. Owned by John and his lovely wife, full of friendly advice and warm hospitality. Delicious breakfast, clean and very comfortable rooms. Close to town and the train station. Wonderful hotel!. John. can't think of anything. Unfortunately there is no lift. We did not ask but were offered a room, which had become available,on the 1st floor for our second night. We did not take up the offer but were extremely surprised yet pleased that the owner was thoughtful of our needs. Nothing. Nothing. Our room was on the top floor (level 3) and there is no lift. Our ensuite was very narrow and small. The shower had no light inside. Light came from behind the plastic (no see through) curtain, from the bottom. Nothing. We were on the second floor so we noticed the stairs!!. No matter where you stay in Boppard you will hear the constant trains-through the night.Walls quite thin-hope you do not have loud neighbours. No Negatives. Oops could hear the people in the next door bathroom. You need to improve your joke book John. Could here people in other rooms if they put on radio / TV in the morning early (6.30). Nothing - a wonderful stay. The walls are a bit thin, but that's just due to the age of the building. Nothing. nothing. Typical of this type of hotel, there were lots of stairs to the top floor!. As it is an old house you can hear other guests in their rooms. Would have liked a working hair dryer. No aircon in room. Nothing. n/a. Nothing. Nothing.
