  I had a car. Free parking here with plenty of room made it a more pleasant choice to get into the city by train. Just drive a short distance to the train station and buy an r/t ticket. The hotel is well maintained, clean, and the staffs are very friendly, and very glad to offer their help, though some speak no fluent English. By 5 min drive, you can reach the Starnberger Lake, which is also a nice place to relax and enjoy youself, esp. the beautiful sun
