  I had stayed at this small, friendly Hotel St Claire on my last trip and was very happy to return as I find the staff exceptionally welcoming, attentive and happy to help (in English and/or French as you wish). I like its pleasingly light, stylish decor, with rooms designed to be calm and restful. Hotel is only approx. 700m from train station..4 blocks down Alle Jean Jarres and 1 block in. Easy to find. Nice breakfast in the morning too. We loved our stay here. Would definitely go back.

However we found the place , had a good meal not far away and a good nights sleep. We were travelling to a family wedding N/E of albi on route d999 and it was easy to get out of the town and onto the road we needed.
