We loved staying at this hotel. The couple who own the hotel have renovated an old barn and were happy to show us the amazing before and after photos. The room is very quaint and beautifully renovated. Bathroom excellent. We were asked if we wished to have dinner at the hotel and we said yes, we would love to. The dinner was actually dinner with the owners and Sarah cooked a wonderful meal. It turned our to be a fantastic evening with all of of learning more English and French between us. Elvi .
todos opiniões » Our favourite accommodation in France. What a wonderful place to stay. Sarah was a wonderful host. The room is spacious and clean with one of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept in. Fast wifi. Fairly close to Australian war memorials. If you have the option of taking part in dinner and breakfast make sure you do it because the food is all home made and Sarah is a phenomenal cook. Worth every penny. Owner is Delightful to chat to as well despite language barrier. We would wholeheartedly recommend Le Colombier - we had a wonderful suite for our family to enjoy. Sarah and Herve are great hosts - we particularly enjoyed the delicious evening meals shared with other guests which was a great experience enjoyed by our teenage sons as well as us. We feel that we have found a little gem and we hope to return there again sometime in the not too distant future. Thank you for a wonderful time - it was the best bit of our holiday !. Five star accommodation on a budget! Wonderful large stylish rooms, within a beautiful crafted converted barn. The owners attention to Guests was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble. Huge Garden that would lend itself to football and running around if you had children. The area was lovely and peaceful and quiet. Sarah's cooking was restaurant level and we ended up eating there every evening bar one! We are defiantly returning to this hotel. Close proximity to Australian anzac memorials in Villers-bretoneaux. Friendliness and great hospitality shown to us by the owners Excellent bed We had two evening meals -both delicious and reasonably priced , while enjoying the company of the owners and other guests. This is a wonderful B&B.The hosts were wonderful and the facilities are new, clean and tidy. It is a little way out in the country but we explored all days and ate at the B&B for two nights. Highly recommended as long as you have a car. The room was very tastefully done, and the service was incredibly thoughtful and generous. All baby provisions were considered ranting from baby bath robe (!) to baby changer. Sarah and her husband were incredibly kind and hospitable. Everything. We had a huge room and bathroom, a big garden to sit in. We stayed for dinner and enjoyed a big and very good meal. Also the breakfast was good. Very friendly people! I would recommend this place to everybody. What was not to like in this charming B&B: a warm welcome by the owners, a lovely room. The setting is nice and the food (and wine!) was splendid. We would recommend this lovely experience to everybody. Wonderful family home with extensive e garden where we had drinks and dinner. Very good value and really peaceful. The only change I can suggest is that the double bed be replaced with a queen size bed. Nothing - not a single problem at all. Nothing- it was all excellent. No negative comment at all. Nothing- everything was very good. Nothing. nothing!. stairs were a bit steep.
