  We stayed in this superb guesthouse for 6 days in May 2013, on our friend's recommendation. A reliable recommendation as it turned out - it was simply heavenly! From the moment we were greeted by Nicolas, we knew we had found a good spot.   Matthew and Cheryl are absolutely wonderful hosts. Matthew served our breakfast with charm and dedication. Cheryl knew wat we like/need even BEFORE we think about it. We entered through a magnificient gate into a courtyard that was composed of various candlelit seating areas. Sylvaine and Dominique greated us at the front gate and immediately gave us a tour of their magical home built in 1760 but updated beautifully with all the necessary comforts. The art and furnishings were a mix of country french and modern - pulled together in a - A great location with great hosts! We were a family with three kids and due to Dominique and Sylvaine's warm hospitality we all felt at home. They gave us great tips for sight seeing. The location of their made it easier for us to enjoy the peace and the beauty of the countryside and easier to reach all the nearby villages. I would definitely want to come back again!
