  On arrival we were given an upgrade and it really made our stay extra special. The decor of the hotel is fantastic. The staff are highly professional and could not do enough for us during in our stay. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.   I researched the place on Tripadvisor and read praise for room 306 so I requested it and got it: wonderful! and more than I expected:a spacious sunny apartment with lots of typical Parisian windows onto a fountain and square. We had an extra person join us in the room, they were able to give us a suite, they got us reservations for a show that was booked when we tried to call etc. The breakfast that is included was great!! Then he was more then willing to make some phone calls in order to make sure we could get into an excellent night club.

  We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The room was VERY spacious and on the quiet side overlooking an inside courtyard. The bathroom was particularly surprisingly new and spacious with a large modern shower and double face basin. The toilet was a separate area. The staff was VERY helpful and professional. They helped with rail tickets, boarding passes, directions for sightseeing and anything else we needed. I like the boutique feeling of the hotel. It is small and cozy. The location is exceptional. It is just minutes from the Louvre, the Seine, Musee D'Orsay and the Opera. It is very convenient to the metro and to wonderful Japanese restaurants.

  I have aspired to stay in this hotel since I first visited Paris as a student and could not afford it...I Was not DISSAPOINTED,as follows... Lovely staff. Child Friendly. Excellent Location. Honesty Bar and 24 hour service (we did not use it but nice to know it's there). Calm atmosphere... Oasis in the middle of mad Paris ! Garden Suite... The location is perfect for those who like to wander the Left Bank. The room was a "Paris size", but that is Paris, No? The room was very quiet even though overlooking the street. Very comfortable bed. Lot's of good, non-tourist dining available within a true 5 minute stroll, including a very nice Jaques Cagna restaurant right across the street and 5 minutes from a Grom gelateria. You can spend more but you really won't get more.

When I handed my booking reference in the gentleman checking us in noticed i had blacked out the price and asked if it was a surprise, I advised it was for my husbands birthday and he wished my husband a happy birthday and asked if he could invite us to the bar for a complimentary cocktail or glass of cha... o que as pessoas dizem » mpagne to celebrate, which was a much appreciated gesture and wonderful start to our trip. We were then shown to our room which we were very impressed - The staff without exception were superb and couldn't do enough to help. We had a three night stay, changing to a different themed room each day. All of the rooms were great and although "compact and bijou" were plenty big enough for our needs. We had a great time in Paris aided in no small part by the knowledge that at the end of each day we would be returning to the Secret. We would recommend without hesitation and will definitely be staying there again.
