  The beds were very comfortable - firm, but not rock hard like some ofthe other hotels we stayed in. The staff, particularly the young man whoregistered us, were very helpful. They all spoke excellent English. Wealso appreciated the fact that school groups were accommodated on otherfloors, so were not disturbed by them.   I spend over 150 nights per year in hotels around Europe, but I'll always remember the 9 days I stayed at La Pérouse in early January 2009. The paroramic view from my room (504) onto the Baie des Anges, the city below and snow-capped mountains around was simply spectacular. Very courteous and helpful staff with unassuming manners. - Nice candies :)
