  First of all, this is France. Places like France and the UK should have a different hotel categorization than the rest of the world. You must always subtract one star of what is announced. The staff went out of their way to recommend places to eat, help us find our way, and find great things to do. Though the Mirabeau is indeed a hotel, it has all the warmth and friendliness of a very welcoming B&B! Although our room faced onto the street it was *very* quiet, and had obviously be recently renovated. The bathroom was beautiful! AND there is a lovely garden outside the breakfast room--while it is a place smokers can go, it is quite charmi
