While the hotel is a little way from the city centre, it is only about a 10 minute walk away. There are some small restaurants close by but you need to explore a bit to find them. There is no lift, so if you are unable to walk up stairs or carry heavy bags up - Wonderful and helpful host. Charming vintage small French family-run hotel. Tastefully decorated with good quality fittings but still maintaining original style. Rooms well appointed and very comfortable bed with a duvet! Close to the beautiful and interesting City centre.

  Couple who owned it were very very friendly and helpful. I felt so welcomed. Very clean - I was in a room with a shared toilet (it must have been cleaned hourly!). Mini fridge in room is such a bonus especially as there is a grocery store across the street. Great location! - Friendly and helpful staff. Nice breakfast and GREAT coffee!

  because the hotel was 2 star we were expecting a bit of a dump, but the hotel was so quaint and comfortable and the room was spacious and cosy. The staff were friendly and one woman in particular spoke excellent english. Its a very homely and well maintained hotel. Breakfast was simple but again wonderful friendly service. I liked this hotel very much. A good budget choice. WiFi available.

  The staff was amazing--very helpful, welcoming, and made me so happy that we chose to stay there. Our bathroom was too small for either of us to comfortably use, so they arranged for us to swap to a room with a larger bathroom, which was wonderful.
