Fantastic place to stay one of the best I have been to.The hotel has lots of character and charm.The room was huge and the bathroom was as big as some of the hotel rooms I have had in France.The owner was great and very friendly it was like going to visit a favourite uncle.I paid 55 euros for the room with breakfast included so really good value for money.We will certainly be going back there when we go to France again.If you are looking for modern hotel this is not for you but if you want old.

Very close to the Veules_les-Roses village which we really liked. Calm and relaxing place. Hope to visit it again. Chalet Du Bel Event is like from fairy tail. It's perfect for holidays for people who enjoy nature and secluded places. We were really enjoy staying there. The distance from the coast is very short - it's a big advantage. Owner of the place is very helpful. The style. It was quite different to anywhere else I've stayed, more like being in an antique shop. Staff (owners I think) spoke good English. Wifi worked everywhere. I hope to stay again next year with my wife. The chalet which is more looking like a little castle, the park / facilities and the friendliness of the hosts giving us indeed the best advices to tour around the site. This is a very classy place and a cut above many at the same price The breakfast in the elegant dining room at a well laid out communal table was a delight. Set in a large garden area this is a quiet setting to enjoy your stay. The bedrooms are larger than normally expected. This place has character. very welcoming, good value, unique building, friendly welcome, quiet, breakfast, location, tall windows, living in a home. I like all in Chalet Du Bel Event, however more varied breakfast would make this place perfect. the access road is a bit rough and could be a muddy in the winter. nothing but maybe the access road to the chalet could be better indicated and a little less bumpy. there was some noise travel between rooms but nothing too serious. water not always hot enough. Nothing. Plug in the bathroom didn't work Lots of stairs up to our room (Tulipe) Lighting in bedroom very dim.
