  The Chateau is unpretentious, nicely renovated and good value. We had an enormous corner room overlooking the river. A very quiet and picturesque area. The owners and staff are very friendly. Finding dinner was challenging however, the A la Ferme hotel in Osthouse has an excellent bistro and restaurant. It helps if you speak french, or at least un... o que as pessoas dizem » derstand a french menu, owners are helpful. - We found Chateau De Werde absolutely charming. It is situated in superb grounds which included a lake, chapel and river! It was everything we had hoped for (and a lot more!). If you are a couple looking for a romantic place to stay in the Alsace region, then this is the place to stay.
