Everything! Well appointed, spacious and very comfortable rooms. A number of public spaces available including access to beverages. A sensational breakfast. Our hostess was very friendly and helpful despite our limited French. Late checkout was great. Close enough to Dinan for us to enjoy the countryside. Plenty of outdoor space for family activities and just relaxing. It would be a brilliant place for a family reunion or other group activity due to the numbering of rooms, outdoor areas and acc.

We liked the ambience of the peaceful countryside setting in the grounds of a ruined castle, and we relaxed as we sat on the deck at sunset and drank a glass of (our) wine. Breakfast was a substantial and delicious continental meal. Conveniently close to Dinan, once you knew the right road to take. We stayed in the apartment and it was really lovely. It had everything you could need and was homely and comfortable. It was amazing to be have ruins of a 16th century chateau on the grounds and really added to the stay. The breakfast was beautiful - home cooked food was served along with super fresh ingredients. Sophie is a fabulous hostess. The facility is very beautiful and extremely comfortable. The included breakfast was outstanding. If you are traveling to Dinan, why stay in a hotel in the city when tranquility,privacy, nature, and luxury are to be found here for a very good price. Highly recommend. The best!. Everything; the location is amazing, 10 min from Dinan, 15-20 min from Dinard ans st Malo The family room is amazingly design, comfort and you could see that a lot of love invested in it. The breakfast are lovely and the set is amazing. Tastefully decorated,clean,comfortable beds. Excellent breakfast with facilities to make a drink in the evening on our return if needed.Friendly hostess and a quiet and relaxing place to stay. I will be recommending it . Good quality. Quiet. The modern facilities,traditional breakfast and peacefulness. Signage would be helpful at the turnoff and at the complex. The only negative we could find, and it's a small thing, was that it was difficult for us to find as La Garaye was not in our SatNav. Because it was someone's home as well as a venue for events, weddings etc it was difficult to find the owners and the reception area. It took us a few minutes of walking the grounds and knocking on various doors. It certainly didn't impact our trip though and is not a big deal. Nothing a small sign couldn't fix!. Even though we know the area well it was difficult to locate..but once we found it was on the Dinan to Poubalay road it was easy to find. Potain on the google map was confusing. Our room was lovely but we did find the corner bath difficult to use. Car needed to get to nearest restaurant. Leaving. We stayed in the handicapped room, and there was no barrier between the shower and the rest of the bathroom, which meant that water escaped everywhere. difficult to find (the lady came to pick us up from town). Only occupants made it perhaps too quiet.Fairly isolated.Difficult to find even with satnav.
