  The proprietress, Sophie, went out of her way to help me when my train pickup didn't arrive. When I finally reached her place, she helped my contact my friends and drove me to their hotel--all while she was preparing dinner for other guests. The location is very quiet and the buildings interesting in that part of them are at least 400 years old. Sophie grows many of the foods served at breakfast including fresh raspberries - Sophie runs an excellent b&B. The rooms are spacious and clean. The petit dejeuner offered is delicious. Sophie makes her own fruit preserves! Sophie also speaks beautiful English; a plus for those whom may struggle with French.

  Having stayed at Hotel de Cormeray before, we knew more or less what to expect and were not disappointed - very friendly and helpful owner, ensuring personal attention.   The hotel is located in a spacious park and the entire setting is very impressive and of high quality. The hotel owner had been very friendly and supportive in all aspects. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever been served in France.
