Quiet surroundings, Tree lined driveway, lovely countryside but not far from Brantome. When you did see the owners they were kind and spoke a little English.
there was no choice for breakfast, only juice, tea/coffee & croissant/bagette, no melon/fruit, yogurt or cereal. Pool area wasn't kept tidy/mown. No proper shower facilities, only an OLD bath (very rough) with hand held spray!
A VERY old musty/damp smell, tattered carpets, wall finishings (bedroom kept clean with painted walls but still smelt musty.
