Great guest house run by the fabulous Simone, Who spared no effort in making sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay even waking early to prepare breakfast for us before our early train even though breakfast was not officially served until later.

This place is a box of delights wrapped in a plain paper wrapper. Driving down the street its easy to miss the sign over the door but when you ring the bell the double carriage doors open to reveal a real gem of period property with Simone, the smiling owner, pointing us to our secure parking spot. The rooms are individually styled to suit the centuries old building, but with comfortable beds, some of them four poster.

We also enjoyed heading downstairs in the evening to sit in the lounge which is kept well supplied with goodies. It's a generous family establishment. The owner also has a garage where we could securely store our bikes. -
We got the Indian-style room, which was most beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Later, when we realized that the photos in the room are actually the family's and understood the meaning of the place's name - we were really moved. The owners were very hospital and friendly and we felt lucky for choosing this place. We would definitely stay here again any time.

Very well presented 2 bedroom apartment in a fantastic location. A balcony and view of La Cite to die for especially at night while sipping your aperitif! Very quite as well with small local tabac and shops for the necessities.....fantastic croissants. Our "landlady" Isabel made us very welcome and was very helpful. We will be back.

The location was excellent for visiting the medieval city. It is a
beautiful house which has been carefully and tastefully restored. The
owner (Bernard) was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended
several good restaurants for us as well as giving us directions. The
breakfast was very good and our apartment was superb with French windows
leading onto the well maintained garden. Rooms were spacious and very

Nice little B&B really close to the old city of Carcassonne and about a 10 minute walk over the bridge into the new town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Room was clean, well decorated and larger than expected. Owners very friendly too.

the suite was great, a good size and the huge bath tub and wet room were lovely. the hotel gardens are very classy and the location next to the entrance to the walled city was perfect to stroll to. The car park is secure which was important to us. -

This is an apartment on the top floor of a large house in central Carcassonne. from the terrace is second to none and very romantic. Nice way of
immersing oneself into the French way of life with everything walkable
within the old and new cities. River Aude and Canal du Midi both close

The hotel room is big. The design of the room is simple and natural.
We can take bath and shower in the room which is very comfortable as we feel tired after whole day trip.
The buffet breakfast is very good and full of choices which is so superise. We like it so much as it gives us a good start of the day.

Superb location and accommodation, the home made cakes for breakfast, plenty of advice given on what to see locally, flexibility and friendliness on booking in later than we'd planned, the free car parking very close by, we all had a lovely stay. The view of the castle from the terrace must be the best in all of Carcassonne - very special indeed. The whole apartment is lovely - furnished to a very high standard. If we are ever back in Carca, we will definitely stay here again.

We had the benefit of the ground floor room which has a door into the
small courtyard garden which was perfect for a quiet glass of wine after
a heavy day sightseeing. On the first night we drank out of the bathroom

Excellent chambre d'hôte in the centre of La Cité Médievale de Carcassonne, a few steps from the ancient Basilica of St Nazaire and the old walls and gateways. Lovely spacious room with excellent, much needed air conditioning - the temperature during the day in the cité was mid-30s. Very traditional French feel to the room: select, chic furnishings; immaculately clean. And a spacious bathroom with full-on modern shower.
