  Being an apparthotel we had complete flexibility to "eat in" rather than find a restaurant every night as there was a small and surprisingly well-equiped kitchenette with all that we needed in the way of utensils for light meal preparation; this also made our stay in Cacassonne very economical. The indoor pool and sauna were a bonu - The hotel has a large internal parking available and is within walking distance from the medieval city. The staff is friendly and helpful: there was a problem with the room they assigned us - twin beds instead of a double one - and they were very accomodating, and quick in finding a solution. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment and it was very clean and spacious, with a large balcony and a stunning view of the fortified ramparts. The bathroom was well-furnished and immaculate.   We love to stay in this apartment as the room is spacious with many kitchen equipments (except water boiler). My dad could take care of himself with cooking tools while my mom and I were not around. It was pretty big the apartment for my famility to stay (couple + 1yr old baby + 3 yrs. old child). The location was perfect. Very close to the castle. The access is very good to go walking. Not recomended to go to the castle with the baby trolley but this has nothing to do with the hotel/appartment. Very very good price/quality ratio.
