  The hotel was in an excellent and beautiful location, literally at the bottom of the hill at the entrance to the castle. The staff were very welcoming and helpful and they all spoke great English. My boyfriend and I (we are both 24yrs old) visited the hotel spa during our stay for a back massage which was lovely - I highly recommend.   The apartment was excellent. Exceeded our expectations. The balcony is great and the view is spectacular. The space in the apt is great, but might be a bit tight for 6 adults as there is only 1 toilet (2 bathrooms).   A superb Apartment in a great location with views to die for! Why would you stay in the cite walls when you can wake up in the morning and see the castle walls. 10 minute walk to everything. Amazing hot tub in the room and Isabella couldn't do enough for you.   Great location...and a good price and value for the money. It was a darling little apartment with everything needed, even a washing machine. Nice large back patio. - The apartment was fairly close to the Carcassonne ramparts & there were also some good small restaurants nearby. We generally enjoyed our visit.
