  I loved the location, it's so close to the beach. Also the staff was very pleasant, they can speak English as long as you don't want to practice your french:)There was also a little kitchen in the room- very handy for breakfast. Will book the room there again next year! - Location is very good, especially if you have a car. The walk to the beach takes 2 minutes. Kitchenette is small, but functional, although we had only one teaspoon (knives and forks were sufficient). Bed was excellent.

  My stay was an utter delight from arrival to departure. The staff were a joy to meet and interact with, and very helpful at all times. The bed was amazingly comfortable .... deliciously so, apparently hand-made in Sweden (I want one). The village location is quiet and very picturesque. A short taxi ride to Nice airport, I've previously used Chateau le Cagnard as a haven before the long flight to Australia and - 1-The Junior Suite's comfortable bed, pillow, and down comforter. 2-Hotel is in a fantastic medieval village that is still inhabited and sits atop a high hill (or small mountain) with a view of the Mediterranean Sea and the surrounding mountains. 3-Fabulous gourmet restaurant with Chef Stephan. Dinner is not to be missed! Try the goat cheese spread, and steak or chicken dinners.   We loved everything about our stay. We were a large group of fifteen some days and always felt welcome.Good breakfast at reasonable price. Excellent & friendly staff. Owner/family operated.
