  The staff were excellent - friendly, efficient and helpful. We dined in the hotel both nights and the food was of a very high standard. The position is good - about 10 minutes walk downhill to the heart of Port Vendre, and 15 minutes back. Staff were very helpful and spoke excellent English. Inexpensive cost of the rooms belies the expensive but excellent quality of the evening dinner.
