We are a British couple who were returning from spending time with our family in the Pyrenees Atlantiques, and who had always wanted to visit the Val d'Aran in northern Spain. The Hotel d'Etigny provided the perfect base, and as we were there on the 14th July we got the firework display as a bonus!

Whilst we stayed, there was a flood in Luchon including our hotel. The staff were excellent during this catastrophe. Also, the room was lovely and garden ( pre flood) is very nice. -
