Easy to find on a main road with free paring outside. We were warmly greeted at the door by the proprietor, who helped us carry our bags in and showed us to the room. The hotel has old features and a clean modern feel. We felt totally relaxed after a long drive as soon as we walked through the door. Our room was clean and fresh with wooden floors

The location was ideal for us. Not being in the centre of town it wasn't too hectic. Designer furniture and spotlessly clean. Our 2 night stay was very enjoyable. Staff were great and nothing too much trouble. We had the breakfast option and found it good value for money. Showers had decent pressure and plenty of hot water at 0930.
We had the comfort room which we later learnt is the budget small room. Fine for 2 nights if passing through but too small for longer stays. Minimal storage for two

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were well laid out, spacious and comfortable. The hotel was clean and well presented with a pretty garden to relax in and where you could also take breakfast in the covered out door dinning area. The hotel is very well situated for easy access to the shopping area and a short walk to the old harbor. Free

We are both entranced by the charming ambience of the hotel. It suited
our needs perfectly. The bedroom was large and lovely. The breakfast
room was decorated in a pale yellow , patterned china cups and saucers
took us back to a relaxed, gentle era. The rose garden and traditional
sculptures were enchanting too. What a perfect "retreat" after
enjoying the many things of interest in La Rochelle. We plan to return
to the same hotel next year.

This was a very, very nice hotel indeed. Extremely comfortable and the design features were greatly appreciated. We would definitely want to stay at this hotel again if we came back to La Rochelle. It was also very convenient for everything that the town has to offer. -
Everyone was friendly and efficient, from check-in right until our departure.

I loved the fact it was a relaxed atmosphere,not stuck up like somehotels. We booked on line and was'nt to sure about the location.Thankfully it was a fantasic location close enough to the town butfar enough away that we did'nt hear all the music on the front. We went for a week and stayed at this hotel and it was great it was in a great location near the town centre supermarket places to eat out. We were right near the attractions too.
The hotel staff were very helpful friendly and always happy to help.
The room was cleaned everyday with fresh linen tea coffee biscuits and my daughter had her own lit

Staff were helpful and friendly, the rooms were large, comfortable and regularly cleaned and furnished with tea and coffee. The location was just right - 10/15minute walk out of the hussle and bussle of the town centre, so you got the best of both worlds: quiet and yet also convienient. The hotel has on-site secure car-parking.

The room and facilities where excellent, the receptionist was very helpful, the bed was very comfortable as was the whole room. It was reasonable quiet and the surrounding pleasant there where also some very nice coastal walks not far from the hotel. Theres also plenty of secure parking available if you, like me, are worried about your car. -

Friendly staff at the reception gave suggestions for visiting the old town. Old town can be reached by foot. (20 min walk, only one main road to cross, cars actually stop at pedestrian crossings, unlike further south in France)
