We loved our stay here. Upon arriving, we were greeted with fruit and chocolate for our boys. The owner is very friendly and uses his phone to translate messages to English. He upgraded us to his apartment after we booked the double bed. It seemed to work much better for us. We chose to buy the breakfast for a little extra cost and we were very pleased with the delivery every morning. It was enough food to make a couple of little sandwiches for lunch. The location is great and about a 10 minute.
todos opiniões » We stayed in the double room and triple apartment with our 3-small children and in-laws for a week. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. The double was cozy and the triple easily accessible. The backyard garden had a relaxing porch swing with a good view and our children could play in the grass. It was an easy 10-minute walk into the historic downtown or boat rental areas. What set this property apart was the friendly host and exceptional hospitality. Each morning he had a specia. Location was good with a superb view and it was a short walk to the old town. Parking right in front of the apartment was provided. The apartment is very clean and has a large bathroom and new towels were provided everyday despite the fact that we were only staying for 2 nights.The owner was very friendly despite the language barrier. We somehow managed to communicate and we were treated to a round of beer and the czech's version of coca cola which was interesting. The owner is a very friendly grandpa. Although not fluent in English, he's very good at body languages and makes good use of his smart phone! Breakfast is rich. The eggs and vegetable are very likely freshly collected from the lovely garden he kept. The view from the pension is excellent. Excellent place to stay. Great value. Very clean room and good facilities (our room had fridge, kettle, big bathroom, tv). Beautiful yard for relaxing in and for young kids. Our toddler loved it.. Host was extremely kind and did everything to make us welcome.. Breakfast was amazing (typical european breakfast).. 10 min walk to centre.. Big longer on way back due to thehill.. peaceful location with parking.. Very highly recommend this beautiful place!. The owner is super friendly and very helpful. Though he only speaks Czech, knows how to use common-sense and google translate on his smart- phone. The breakfast was great and plenty. I even got a beer as a present. Great price. You can park your car in front of the house. The accommodation is up on the hill and you will need to walk around 15 mins to get to the sights if you chose not to go by car and pay high parking fees. Would not hesitate to stay here again!. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The pension itself is in a quiet neigbourhood 10 minutes walk from the town center. The rooms are new and have everything needed. You should definitely try the breakfast which was something different everyday but always generous and delicious. In the attic room you also have a nice view of the town. Cesky Krumlov is the most beautiful town from every perspective. Great food at the vegetarian restaurant. The apartment is in a great location within easy walking distance to the castle but away from the crowds. Bedrich, our host went out of his way to welcome us and had maps and information for us. The location is good considering the money. We could walk to old town in 15 mins. The owner cannot speak English but we can communicate through his body language and Google Translate of his smartphone. The breakfast was so lovely. The room is so comfortable and clean. Pension is situated just outside of the old town, on walking distance (mind the somewhat steep walk on the way back). The only negative aspect to this property is that it is located on the top of a hill overlooking the city. It was difficult to walk back to the hotel with our children at the end of each day. Nothing really... Nothing. Everything was good. May be the bad mattress should be renewed. a little bit far walking distance to the town center and castle. The matress is not so comfortable. no solar blinds on the windows, at 6:00 AM you have the sun in your face!.
