morning...with the sun and the view). If you don't mind a little
walk, you can even get to downtown Opatija. There is a grocery store

We stayed at Villa Luppo for a couple of days in August 2013. I can only wish we had more time! Our family had a terrific time. Katia and Ivo are great hosts! Welcoming, very attentive to our needs, always ready to help. We arrived late, it was already dark, they met us nearby and directed us to the apartment. The rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The property has a beautiful garden, a very good restaurant, an outdoor swimming pool and a playground for children. Just outside Pula at Pjescana Uvala. Large older style apartment above the family's house, real wood not plastic. Very large terrace with full views over beach, harbour & islands. We loved the setting. A small castle like building on the top of a hill with a small settlement surrounding it. Awesome! We had a nice room, it was a little dark, but not a problem, open the doors and windows. The settlement of Groznjan was fun to be in and walk around. Not a long drive to the Sea and other surrounding villages. Highly recommended to go off the beaten track and stay here.

Amazing hotel, beautifully if not always practically designed. The staff were generally extremely friendly and helpful. The new pool area and cafe are lovely. The hotel was extremely busy when we were there and it was difficult to get a lounger next to the pool but this wasn't a problem as there were plenty of other loungers in amongst the trees.

Spent 2 nights here in Oct.,we were given an upgrade to a Jazz Room and althought it was a bit cool for the water it was great for relaxing! Staff so great !! I can see why it is such a conference hotel as they are very service oriented! Lana at the front desk was delightful and enjoyed meeting the head chef that grew up in Canada(woohoo Canadian Maple Syrup on the menu) Ate in L Restaurant twice and would go back again. Presentation and flavors of the dishes were wonderful. Loved the Croation

We loved everything about this hotel and the region in general. The rooms are large, clean and beautifully appointed; the views are stunning; Breakfasts are delicious and served on a terrace overlooking the Adriatic. We also enjoyed an excellent dinner at the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a pleasant 15 minute walk from the beautiful old town of Rovinj.
