Our stay at Guest House Saluto was wonderful. We used the friendly and affordable airport pick-up service, as we arrived relatively late. Ramona is a wonderful host who speaks excellent English and is very helpful, always giving sound advice and great tipps where to go in town and around it. It is located about 20 minutes by foot from the Old Town, but only about 10 minutes from the central bus station and the harbour. Very nice apartment flat with balcony. Owner and her father were very accommodating and gave us recommendations for eating out and where to avoid (tourist traps). In between the old town and the bus station, so good location if you are planning to take the bus to somewhere the next morning!.

The space.
Nice apartment and clean. The owner gave us some directions and info about Dubrovnik. There was coffe and sugar, but would be also nice to find salt in apartments with kitchen since many travellers just stay for a couple of days and would no make sense to buy a hole bag of salt.
Good location close to bus station and port, so easy for transport, yet only a 15 minute walk from the old town.
Exellent locatation, a walk into the centre, but beware allot of steps!.

Location was high on a hillside with no vehicle access-even the taxi driver had difficulty finding it. Too far from city centre.
Dificult to find if you don't know the city. We walk about 25 min from the main bus station. It is in a hill and there is a lot stairs to get the house which could be a problem for some travellers. The kitchen attire was very poor. No chance to take a shower two in a row since hot water was over in about 5 min shower.

it's impersonal and no character, a shoddy and run down, not easy to get if you use public transport.

Despite she promised to put our luggage out of the luggage storage at 5pm she forgot it and we wait 1 hour for our luggage and we missed the airport shuttle.
