This Hostel is amazing. Our travelers consisted of three people, husband and wife in their 50's and me their 22 year old son. I was a bit apprehensive staying in a hostel with my parents, but I decided to take the leap.

I cannot say enough good things about this hostel. Stayed in a double room which was a hotel room, not a hostel. Super clean, good beds, I even think the floors were heated. The staff is excellent, went out of their way to help us with planning and transportation. The location is excellent, easy walk or short bus ride to all the sites. Common space was cozy and it is probably even better in the summer since they have an amazing rooftop. You will not be disappointed.

tours and activities every night arranged by the staff. We did the tour

A great backpacker haven (a welcoming bar area with wifi serving beer on tap, hookahs, and western food) that also provides the comforts and cleanliness of a no frills budget hotel. Location is very central within 15 minutes walking distance to the Bell Tower, subway station, and Muslim Quarter. The staff helped plan our Xi'an visit, while a lot of travel info is also posted in the common areas by the staff previous guests.

Everything in the room was fine, i didn't try the bar - restaurant ( and actually i wouldn't understand those who eat at the hotel when the muslim street is so close ! )
Walking distance to Bell / Drum towers and muslim street. Good rganized trips ( even though you pay them like 500 rmb when the ones for chinese people are 50 rmb )

The staff was very helpful with everything. They got us on a tour at the
last minute when we arrived. They did our wash on short notice. They
even helped us get a taxi on the street. They spoke good English. The
food and the atmosphere were also good. They also saved us money by
changing us from 2 rooms to 1 3 bed room which does not show being

Staff is very friendly, plus the bar seems to be very popular that you can meet friends from different parts of the world. Water is hot enough for shower and it is not too far away from the stations.

This hostel is the best I've stayed in China, though the room/
bathroom were small the bed was as comfortable as a 5 star hotel and
they have all sorts of facilities to make the life of a traveller easier
