The daughter of the hotel owner is very kind, who is working at reception.
The internet is good.

Very close to Pudong Airport so it's convenient if late arrival or
early departure from the Airport. The Maglev and Metro trains all stop
by 11 pm so unless you want to take the taxy and pay midnight
surcharges, it will be better to put up a night in this hotel. Moreover
they have a shuttle coach service which cost a minimal rmb 10 per
person, but you will have to call the hotel to request this service. If
you don't speak Chinese/Mandarin then it's best you ask any
service counter staff at the .
I already stayed here before because of my flight. That time I booked the budget room and it was only OK for 1 night. This time I booked the same room but I got a nicer one. It was not smelly and it even had a shower cabin. I was satisfied for the value.
Near the airport (but we sent them 2 emails in order to pick us up, and we are still waiting for...), even if they only speak Chinese they are patient and try to understand.

noisy electricity in room , had to take key out of holder inside room , but that meant no light at all, ask reception , answer was take key out of terminal, so no light when that happened , hmmm.

The walls were dirty. There was something disgusting in the sink.
They didn't come to pick us up at the airport, no wifi, nothing around, staff doesn't speak English, no window in the room, closest subway station at 6km.
Staff knew little english and while they were nice enough, they could put in some more effort to make you feel welcome.
Shuttle bus was very crowded, no extra space for the luggage, so everything was crammed into that mini-bus with everyone. It was kinda uncomfortable but the ride doesn't take long and it's free!.

fair but I had to listen to some noise the whole night, it was like
having a giant bee buzzing all night. Smelled like someone smoked in the
room before. Even the towels smelled like cigarettes. The bed was hard.
The cleaning staff was really loud in the corridor in the morning.
Girl on reception wasn't helpful, no wifi, shuttle bus only on during certain times and isn't stated when booking (you have to chase them for a reply).
the service was very poor, honestly i didnt sleep in a hotel, i felt im not safe in that hotel, the staff always say no, 90 % of the question i ask always say no, i thought staff can speak english, no they are no , i really had a bad experience in that hotel.
My room had a cockroach crawing on the toilet. The staff spoke no English. The shuttle driver dropped me off at the wrong airport terminal. The front desk staff ran a very noisy printer from midnight until 2am, when I told them it was keeping me awake.
The staff was rude and not helpful. They also tried to get more money out of me than was agreed to through the booking. The booking said there was wifi and there was none.
Horrible staff! I asked the receptionist to call me a taxi and she refused to by giving me some lame excuse that a taxi wouldn't come to the hotel because it's a "rural area" etc etc. I ended up having to use the services of the "hotel driver" who obviously charged me more than a taxi but what can you do when you come with two large suitcases and speak little Chinese. Honestly, there are plenty of much better hotels in the Pudong Airport area.
