Brickyard Retreat at Mutianyu Great Wall is a 45-minute drive from Ming Tombs. It takes approximately a 60-minute drive from the property to Beijing Capital International Airport. Beijing downtown and Beijing Railway Station are about a 90-minute drive away. Individually designed rooms are fitted with air conditioning, heating, a dining area and a private bathroom. Guest can hire a car to explore around, take a soothing massage at the spa, or have a relaxing walk in the private garden. Luggage storage and hiking maps are available at front desk. Other facilities include a games room, a children's playground, a gift shop and a petanque court. Free private parking is possible upon reservation. Guests are required to show a valid government-issued ID card or passport upon check-in. Please note that on-site bicycles are only offered free of charge to lodging guests. (subject to availability.) In an effort to reduce the environmental footprint, the property strongly encourage guests to use reusable items. Please remember to bring your own toothbrush and other toiletries with you. Please note that there are 25 hotel rooms and 9 private villas at Brickyard Retreat at Mutianyu Great Wall. The hotel rooms are located in Beigou Village while villas are located in the villages of Beigou, Mutianyu and Tianxianyu. Starting from 1 Jan. 2016, a security deposit is required upon arrival for incidentals. This deposit is fully refundable upon check-out and subject to a damage inspection of the accommodation.
