The staff is exceptional -- all spoke English, even the maid. All wentout of their way to be friendly and helpful and gracious. We added on ahalf day, since our flight didn't leave til evening, and the maid camein and made up the room with fresh towels and everything while we wereat lunch. The breakfast is also very good and varied. - Very convenie

Very good level of quality throughout. Rooms are comfortable and to a good standard of finish, furnishing etc. Excellent location, in the business district but close to shopping and restaurants and adjacent to the Linhexi subway station that provides a direct link to the airport and connections to other parts of the city. -

location - the hotel is right in the thick of it - you come out of the hotel and you are right in the centre of a very lively area - to one side you are next to a market and a five minutes to the river - to the other side in a wonderful area of the city - clothes food jewellery and life. Location is great - just few minutes from Pazhou exhibition center and metro station. This time we've found small cafeteria at -1 floor so you can have breakfast there. Wi-fi speed is good enought. -

I loved everything about Shangri-La; although abit on the expensive side but worth it. The hotel is the grandest I have ever visited, the service is excellent and has lived up to its 5-star status. Loved every minute of it and cant wait to re-visit. -

Booked in for a for a standard room and because my birthday was the following week, I was upgraded with a suite, and given wine and chocolate. Wonderful gesture, but as I had a 1am flight, wasn't able to take full advantage of staying the night. It will definitely be the hotel I stay in while in GZ. -
