Tucked away in the beautiful gardens of Kep National Park, Vanna Hill Resort provides wooden Khmer-style bungalows with private balconies and free Wi-Fi. Overlooking the ocean and Bokor Hill, it features a large outdoor pool. 200 metres above sea level, the bungalows all come with a seating area and hammock on the balcony. They are air conditioned and equipped with a fridge and an en suite bathroom. Free bottled water is also provided. The bungalows are about 1.5 km from the beach, a short distance from the popular Crab Market restaurant. Phnom Penh International Airport is situated about 135 km away. Guests can relax in the spa pool or enjoy a walk in the garden. Alternatively The Vanna Hill Resort provides a gym and car and bicycle rental facilities. The tour desk assists guests in organising excursions to local attractions. The restaurant serves Khmer specialities and fresh seafood. It also boasts an extensive selection of wines. Deluxe poolside room, very reasonably priced, has luxurious tongue-in- groove ceiling and wainscot, with recessed lighting and sconce lamps, very comfortable bed and pillows with linens refreshed daily, quality window coverings and furniture, tea service and bottle water with mini- fridge, porch with lounge chairs overlooking pool and sea and island view, and attractive shower/toilet area. A relaxing, peaceful location with great sea and jungle views; courteous, helpful staff; excellent food and value for money; management very helpful and genuinely ready to please. Scored a great special thru letsbookhotel.com so stayed longer. The food is excellent, especially the Amok and prown curry. The pool is great and perfect to relax. Great position at 10 min walk from the crab market ADN very cose to the natural park entrance. Paradise! Beautiful pool, great restaurant, perfect breakfast buffet. Watch the sunset on your own private porch in a hammock, this was a lovely place. great location, friendly helpful staff, good aircon, tea/coffee in rooms, great sized beds , good hot water, pleasant and more than adequate breakfast. Loved the views and surroundings. Liked the pool and also the food was good. View , Location, surrounding jungle and swimming pool are great. The pool was large and refreshing though slightly warm. Staff were friendly, especially one young guy in the restaurant. Their amok dishes were delicious. No real complaints. Anything we mentioned as needing attention was attended to promptly, politely, and unobtrusively. Ants around poolside seating and inside accommodation; uneven flooring in restaurant and some steps a little dangerous and hard on the feet; unsealed, rutted road access difficult so a very bumpy ride off the main road by tuktuk. had a quilt cover on bed ..would have liked a sheet as well as too hot for quilt. Some may not like the 800m walk up the hill from the market, water front. Some tuk tuks can't get more than 1 person up the hill. Lack of wifi at the time of my visit. Nothing to report. Far from kep beach and center. The coffee needs to be improved. We stayed in a standard double room, the price is ok but the rooms have tired over the years, they are very dark and the shower was terrible.The other rooms look new and perhaps inside is nicer. The buffet breakfast was poor quality and not much variety, if you want to have food make sure you go at 7am, every morning we went at 9am and most of the food was gone and they did not re fill. We ended up going across the road to Veranda to have their delicious Pastries and fresh juices. The room was fairly basic and the bathroom incredibly basic. We were upgraded to a superior so I am not sure what our standard room would've been like. No tv in the room and the hotel was pretty quiet when we were here so not much to do after 10pm. Breakfast was also fairly basic with not many options. Food not all covered so beware of flies as restaurant is outdoors. If you are looking for budget option for a relaxing place with pool then this would be fine for you.
